so exciting

On a whim, the hubs and I dragged the sis antique-looking this weekend.  We wanted to try to get some ideas for our new space (yes we got it! a 660 sq ft loft).  However, looking quickly turned into shopping when we found a super-cool old baker’s rack.  I won’t reveal what we’re using it for just yet, but needless to say, I am super-pumped!  The creative juices have been flowing and I’m beside myself that we will have a new space to reinvent! antique baker's rack

  1. LOVE the rack and congrats on your new place. Will you be downsizing? Sometimes I complain that our little house is hard for a family of (almost) four to live in, but then I remember a lot of people successfully live in a lot less. 🙂

    1. It is a serious downsize with the kitchen. In our other home, the kitchen was designed by us and clearly the largest space in the building. Seriously when packing I had more boxes labeled “Kitchen” than any thing else. But the over all square footage isn’t too much of a loss. We’re going from 1100 sq ft to 660. That extra 440 would be nice, but we’ll just have to get cozy with our visitors!

I’m amazed at what people can and will live in. Keeps materialism in check… sort of! 🙂
