perspective

Yesterday was a bad day — a really. bad. day.  Nothing traumatic, but enough to make me pop the cork on some Merlot instead of going to the track.  There was some work junk, B has some school junk, and then to top it off I had vehicle issues too (which now means money junk).  But sometimes the only thing that can make me get over my pity party keep things in perspective is to remind myself of those things I am truly grateful for.   And a bad day is just that, one day.  And besides things could have gone MUCH worse — I mean, what better place to have your car basically explode than 5 minutes after you pulled into your parent’s driveway with your Dad already working outside?
